Target Audience

Physicians, nurses, and other interested health professionals involved in cancer patient care.

Purpose

Provide current education in the diagnosis and overall treatment of breast cancer as related to breast imaging, diagnostic procedures, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, reconstruction, and lymphedema therapy.

  • Discuss various medical/surgical/radiological diagnoses and treatment strategies utilized in breast cancer and breast health issues.
  • Identify the importance of a team approach to the diagnosis, overall treatment plan, and follow up care to breast cancer and breast health issues.
