Mary Greeley Medical Center Grand Rounds is a multi-disciplinary clinical activity which serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.  

Target Audience

Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses and healthcare administrators.

Learning Objectives

  1. Know which patients should be considered for bariatric surgery.
  2. Kknow the long-term outcomes for weight loss in bariatric surgery patients.
  3. Know the long-term outcomes for resolution of obesity-related comorbidities after bariatric surgery.
  4. Understand bariatric surgery can be seen as both treatment and prevention.
