Purpose
To provide updates in diagnostics and treatment of health care problems affecting Trauma Patients.
Target Audience
Physicians, nurses, residents and medical students who have experience in the area of trauma.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and evaluate blunt cardiac injury, deceleration and penetration injury of the chest.
- Discuss management of the trauma patient with a myocardial infarction.
- Discuss dual anti-platelet therapy and anticoagulation issues in a trauma CAD patient.
