Amy J. Lynch, DO
The Iowa Clinic
Dr. Lynch completed her undergraduate training at Northwest Missouri State University and earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Des Moines University. She completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Lynch completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Missouri – Hospital and Clinics during which she served as Administrative Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Lynch joined the medical team at The Iowa Clinic in 2012. Components of her clinical practice include performing outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, electrodiagnostics, and botulinum toxin injections.
Dr. Lynch’s research efforts include:
- Retrospective analysis of patient outcomes and interventions for post-stroke dysphagia”.
- Improved Swallowing Function with Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Following Von Hippel Lindau Disease related Stroke: A Case Report.
- The latter was disseminated at the 2011 Association of Academic Physiatrists conference
