The course will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Learners will be required to pass a post-assessment with 80% and complete an evaluation.

 Learning Objectives

  • Recognize which Bloodborne Pathogens can be transmitted by not using safe injection practices.
  • Understand how infections are transmitted from patient to patient when not using safe injection practices.
  • Explain the procedures and safeguard for using multi-dose and single-use vials of medication.
  • Explain the 1-1-1 rule.
