Purpose

To provide updates in diagnostics and treatment of health care problems affecting Trauma Patients. 

Target Audience

Physicians, nurses, residents and medical students who have experience in the area of trauma.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify how palliative care can be utilized in the trauma population.
  2. Discuss brain death diagnosis.
  3. Review prognostication tools for use in the intensive care unit.
