Mary Greeley Medical Center Grand Rounds is a multi-disciplinary clinical activity which serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.  

Target Audience

Physicians and Advance Practice Professionals.

Purpose

  • Primary physicians are underdiagnosing RLS, misunderstanding the workup, and treating with short-term medications long-term. This activity will address these issues.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the diagnostic criteria for restless leg syndrome (RLS).
  • Utilize the initial workup for RLS.
  • Understand the pros and cons of the treatment options for RLS.
