Respiratory Precautions


This on-line course is open to DMU faculty, staff, and students only.  The course will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants will be required to pass a post-assessment with 80% and complete an evaluation. 

 Learning Objectives

  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of respiratory tract infections, routes of transmission, and causes.
  • Define transmission based precautions.
  • Explain ways in which individuals can protect themselves from transmission and infection.
