Mary Greeley Medical Center Grand Rounds is a multi-disciplinary clinical activity which serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.  

Target Audience

Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses and healthcare administrators.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the challenges & stress associated with caregiving.
  2. Understand the need for a care plan & follow up, even for patients for whom there is no effective treatment.
  3. Become aware of local resources available to support caregivers.
  4. Have a method to assess functional & safety status of demented patients.
  5. Consider treatment options for demented patients.
