Neurosurgery Grand Rounds
Purpose
To provide education on the most current neurosurgical and neurological updates in diagnostics, management, treatment and care of patients.
Topic
Surgical spine care for trauma, spinal oncology and degenerative spine disease.
Target Audience
Physicians, nurses, and other interested health professionals involved in the care of the patient with neurological disease.
Learning Objectives
- Identify basic anatomy of the vertebrae, spinal cord and nerve roots.
- Evaluate spine stability.
- Verbalize surgical indications for the spine.
