Neuroscience Grand Rounds
Purpose
To provide education in diagnostics, management, and the current challenges in caring for the patient with neurological conditions.
Target Audience
Neurologists, neurological surgeons, psychiatrists, radiologists, physiatrists, pathologists, primary care physicians, residents, medical students, nurses, ancillary staff, and allied health professionals who are involved in the management of patients with neurological conditions.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss diagnosis and clinical manifestations for various neurological diseases.
- Appraise appropriate evaluation, management strategies and treatment options utilized in caring for the patients with neurological disease or disorders.
- Incorporate evidence-based management, research and current guidelines into clinical practice.
- Identify the advantages of the team approach in caring for patients with neurological diseases or disorders.
