
Macrolide Antibiotics
The purpose of the Pulmonary Critical Care Conference is to provide current information regarding challenges in caring for the hospitalized patient. The series is held monthly and presents a clinical topic or vignette from a pulmonary care case.

Physicians, nurses, and other interested health professionals involved in the care of the patient with pulmonary disease.

- Discuss the pathophysiology and properties of macrolide antibiotics.
- Identify indications for use of macrolide antibiotics.
- Identify how macrolide antibiotic use in acute lung injury may impact patient outcomes.
