The American Cancer Society, with a grant from the Iowa Cancer Consortium, is pleased to partner with the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP) to provide a breakout session at the 2015 IAFP Annual Meeting. 

Objectives

  1. Understand common barriers to colorectal cancer screening and utilize appropriate strategies.
  2. Discuss key practice-change elements proven to increase screening rates.
  3. Implement evidence-based CRC screening interventions utilizing resources from the ACS, NCCRT and other organizations.
