Tran Nhu Minh Hang, MD, PhD
Senior Lecturer and Head of Psychiatric Department, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Hue, Vietnam

Dr. Hang completed her undergraduate degree in Doctor of Medicine at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam in 1998. From 1998 to 2001, she worked at the same university as a lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry, participating in a number of research projects. From 2001 to February 2004, she pursued the Master of Psychiatry program at Hanoi Medical University in Vietnam. in 2005 Dr. Hang studied Pediatric Psychiatry at Rivendell Hospital in Sydney, Australia. From 2008 to August 2012, she completed a PhD course on Psychiatry at Hanoi Medical University. Dr. Hang also participated in many training courses on mental health and psychotherapist delivered by professors coming from Germany, Australia, and the United States to improve knowledge and skills.

Dr. Hang is also a visiting lecturer of the Department of Social Work at Hue University of Sciences. She has joined in many programs on mental healthcare for communities such as mental healthcare for children and adolescent prevention programs for domestic violence and bullying in school. Research interests have covered problems such as Mental Disorders in different age groups including substance use disorder, children's mental health and disabilities, and social outcomes for people living with chronic mental disorders.
