Mary Greeley Medical Center Grand Rounds is a multi-disciplinary clinical activity which serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.  

Target Audience

Physicians, mid-level providers, nurses and healthcare administrators.

Learning Objectives

1. Initiate a clinical workup for diarrhea, constipation, anemia, Hepatitis C, and risk-based colon cancer screening.
2. Describe the indications for endoscopic ultrasound, enteroscopy, and Barrett's esophagus ablation.

Professional Gap

Primary care physicians will learn what to include in the initial evaluation of patients with chronic diarrhea, constipation, anemia, and Hepatitis C, prior to GI referral, along with the guidelines for colorectal cancer screening.
