Target Audience

Physicians, nurses, and other interested health professionals involved in cancer patient care. 

Purpose

Provide current education in the diagnosis and overall treatment of breast cancer related to breast imaging, diagnostic procedures, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, reconstruction, and lymphedema therapy.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss various medical/surgical/radiological diagnoses and treatment strategies for breast cancer and breast health issues.
  • Identify the importance of a team approach to the diagnosis, overall treatment plan, and follow-up care for breast cancer and breast health issues.
  • Discuss current issues related to breast health and breast cancer.
