Mary Greeley Medical Center Grand Rounds is a multi-disciplinary clinical activity which serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession.  

Target Audience

Physicians, Advance Practice Professionals, Nurses, Ancillary Staff, and Medical Students (rotating).

Purpose

• This activity will help address the practice gap of applying practice guidelines appropriately into clinical practice, such as knowing the age at which certain symptoms require a work up, and the most effective and cost-conscious approach to managing common conditions.

Learning Objectives

• Incorporate new GI practice guidelines into their daily practice.
• Establish cost effective practices in the care of common GI complaints and conditions.
• Identify important side effects of medications that are either used in GI practice of that have GI toxicities.
