Tracy Porter, PT, DPT

Dr. Tracy Porter is the assistant director of clinical education and assistant professor In the Des Moines University Department of Physical Therapy.  Prior to joining Des Moines University, she served as academic coordinator of clinical education for a physical therapist assistant program.  She has 15 years of full-time clinical experience in a variety of practice settings and treats patients with a variety of conditions including orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses.  Areas of clinical expertise include the movement system model of diagnosis and treatment, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and select pelvic health conditions.  Dr. Porter graduated from Des Moines University in 1997 with a master of science in physical therapy and earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from Washington University in 2012.  She Is currently pursuing a doctorate of educational leadership from Concordia University.
