The C-ICE 2.0 aligns with the 2023 IPEC Core Competencies to assess interprofessional team behaviors. This presentation highlights updates to the tool, reliability and validity testing results, and its implications for advancing interprofessional education.

The Creighton Interprofessional Collaborative Evaluation (C-ICE) tool plays a key role in assessing students' ability to demonstrate the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Core Competencies within both clinical and simulated settings. The C-ICE is recognized as the only instrument to assess behavioral change in a team's performance, evaluating collaboration, leadership, and communication skills. IPEC’s revised competencies in 2023 necessitated a review and update of the C-ICE instrument to ensure continued relevance to and efficacy with interprofessional practice. The C-ICE 2.0 was developed after alignment with the 2023 IPEC competencies.
