Nothing But Nets
Every 60 seconds a child dies from malaria. In sub-Saharan Africa, families worry that their children will get bitten by a disease-carrying mosquito, but a bed net can mean the difference between life and death. With our help, Nothing But Nets is working to distribute nets where they are needed most. During registration, give back by donating $5 to Nothing But Nets where 100% of the proceeds will protect and a family against malaria.
- Students, faculty and staff from Heartland Global Health Consortium member schools: Central College, Des Moines University, Drake University, Iowa State University, Mercy College of Health Sciences, Simpson College, University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa and William Penn University.
- Free for Heartland Climate and Health Consortium members
