Kent Nebel, JD
Interim Executive Director and Director of Legal Affairs, Iowa Board of Medicine
Kent Nebel has been with the Iowa Board of Medicine for 20 years serving as the Director of Legal Affairs and, most recently, the Interim Executive Director. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Drake University, and has many years of legal and leadership experience in the field of medicine.
Owen Parker, MPH
Program Manager, Office of Medical Cannabidiol, Iowa Department of Public Health
Mr. Parker is the Program Manager for the Office of Medical Cannabidiol within the Iowa Department of Public Health. He received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Iowa College of Public Health. He has spent several years working in operations, compliance and business development for a multi-state cannabis facilities operator and brings a unique combination of education and experience to his current role.

Des Moines University is located on a 22-acre campus in the heart of Des Moines, Iowa. Just west of downtown on Grand Avenue, the University is located in one of Des Moines' most prestigious neighborhoods. The campus is in a historic neighborhood filled with tree-lined streets and gracious older homes and businesses. Its central location makes it easy to access the rest of the city and outlying communities. The campus is close to the Des Moines International Airport, located on the bus line and just blocks from local shopping and downtown Des Moines.
