The Mental Health Issues in Dependent Adults conference will be held in person at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA, and streamed live online via Zoom.

As America ages, there will be a greater demand to address the mental health needs of seniors, especially those who reside in long-term care facilities. This conference will support clinicians and administrators working with this population.

Target Audience

Any clinician, caregiver, or administrator involved in providing care to adults in long-term care.

    The Iowa Veterans Home is at 1301 Summit Street, Marshalltown, Iowa. Individuals should enter at the West Entrance, west of the corner of 13th Street and Summit. On the map below, this is shown as Independence Road. Go to the far north end of the entrance road and turn right into the large parking lot. The conference will be held in Whitehill Auditorium (Building #10 on the map). Handicapped parking is available across the street south of the cottages (#11), in the southeast corner of the lot immediately north of the cottages (#11), and in the gift shop parking lot.
