Purpose
APA & AMA style guides are silent on how to format digital content and citations in a way that is friendly with ADA accessibility rules. How do we handle this? In this class participants will learn how to format text, images, and citations in accessible ways all within a PowerPoint presentation.
Objectives
- Practice choosing accessible fonts.
- Identify issues with color.
- Practice adding alt-text to images.
- Practice adding hypertext links in accessible ways.
- Practice using the accessibility checker in PowerPoint.
