Neuroanatomy Lecture and Lab Dissection of the Brain

  • Review, dissect, and discuss gross anatomical structures of the brain related to rehabilitation of cerebral and cerebellar pathologies.
  • Recognize gross anatomical structures of the brain.
  • Summarize the functional correlations between human brain structures and neuropathology. 
  • Apply structural correlates of neuropathology seen in human brain.

Holistic Practices for Self and Patient Care

  • Assess and perform Diaphragmatic breathing and Transfer Abdominus -Thoroco Diaphragmatic breathing for relaxation and spinal stability
  • Know resources to assist with a meditation practice
  • Understand mindfulness and its effect on the brain
  • Use resiliency practices to increase resiliency and happiness
