- Apply an epidemiological model to mass violence in the context of developing an all hazards plan for health care facilities.
- Identify and define common vocabulary used for statistical understanding (eg mass murder vs spree murder).
- Consider and reflect on possible risks to the organization, the small group and the individual.
- Identify potential internal and external stakeholders for the development of all hazards plans.

Fritz has a 20 year history of participating in and studying emergency response. He was on the ground in the preparation, evacuation and recovery of the 1993 central Iowa flooding and produced documentary reporting on location the week following the mass murder at Columbine High School. He authored the All Hazards emergency response plan for Mercy College and current serves on a small community volunteer fire department.as their implications to other areas of study such as the effect of smoking on breast cancer risk.
