Description
The American Nurses Association (ANA) is vital in advocating for healthcare policies that support collaborative care and equitable nurse reimbursement. In today’s healthcare landscape, which is marked by increasing patient complexity, provider shortages, and persistent health disparities, ANA’s efforts help advance policies prioritizing team-based care and fair compensation for nurses. This advocacy influences national priorities by improving care access, lowering costs, and promoting health equity. Nurses can engage in the policymaking process by effectively communicating with legislators and regulatory bodies, offering testimony, participating in public comment opportunities, and staying active in professional organizations to amplify their voices and shape the future of healthcare.

- Discuss how the American Nurses Association (ANA) advocates for policies that support collaborative care and equitable nurse reimbursement.
