Speaker

Courageous Fire, CHW
Founder and CEO, Courageous Fire, LLC
Ms. Fire is a domestic violence survivor, global trainer, and strategic guide who created Courageous Fire, LLC to shift outcomes for Black women, women who disproportionately carry compounded trauma, and to reshape the systems meant to serve them.
The early work focused on helping service organizations meet their missions by showing that trauma-informed, culturally-infused practices don’t slow performance; they sharpen it. Ms. Fire's model demonstrates that acknowledging the impact of trauma on the communities these organizations serve doesn’t compromise mission delivery; it strengthens it. Now, they bring that same clarity and strategy to corporate spaces: helping business leaders recognize how trauma can quietly disrupt retention, morale, and productivity, and how to intercept that disruption to safeguard talent, stabilize teams, and protect profitability.
Ms. Fire has logged several thousand hours of field research on trauma-informed, culturally infused care. As a certified Community Health Worker, she’s brought those insights into trainings for agencies, corporations, and government systems nationwide, transforming how teams care for their people, deliver services, and design leadership from the inside out.
