This is the form used to submit your SCIENTIFIC PHOTO for the DMU Research Symposium. If you would like to submit a RESEARCH ABSTRACT, please visit the Abstract Submission Form.

If you're having difficulties uploading your photo, please email it to cme@dmu.edu and include the name(s) of the researcher(s) on your project, your program or department, project title, and description of the photo (maximum of 150 words).

During the Research Symposium, there will be an opportunity for faculty, students and staff to display photos of their research.  Whether it is a microscopic image or images around a lab or in the environment, submit a photo which visually depicts your research. A few sample images are included on the banner at the top of the page. Be creative! Photos will be judged using Poll Everywhere and the audience favorite will win a prize.

Photos should be:

  • Black and white or color 
  • In its original state; no modifications to the picture
  • At least 300 dpi (or 1500 x 1500 pixels) 
  • A maximum file size of 4 Mb 
  • In a JPEG, TIFF, PNG, or GIF file format

The photo submission deadline is Wednesday, November 28.

PLEASE NOTE: Submitted photos will be printed by the DMU CME office for display at the Symposium. After submission of your photo, no further action is required of you.
