This is a closed course and is limited to Broadlawns Medical Center clinicians. Registrations are not being accepted.
 

Purpose

To educate providers on the value of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and basic skills to grow the use of POCUS within the Broadlawns Medical Center community to better serve our patients.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the role of POCUS in patient care.
  2. Develop a basic understanding of ultrasound mechanics.
  3. Obtain adequate images of each scanning region and develop a basic understanding of pathology.
  4. Develop a basic understanding of the use of ultrasound for procedural guidance.
