Purpose

This activity is designed to provide practical insights, including clinical pearls, common pitfalls, and multidisciplinary perspectives, on the evaluation and management of patients with undiagnosed myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). By enhancing clinicians' knowledge and approach to care, the activity aims to improve patient outcomes and promote effective, compassionate management.

Additionally, the program seeks to address and reduce stigma within the medical community by increasing awareness and understanding of ME/CFS as a complex, legitimate medical condition.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify unexplained chronic pain, fatigue, depression, cognitive impairment, etc., caused by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) from other diseases.
  2. Identify common causes that lead your patients to develop ME/CFS.
  3. Diagnose (for clinicians) and develop an individualized treatment plan tailored for your ME/CFS patients.
