Pella Regional Health Center
Pella Regional Health Center is a private, nonprofit provider of healthcare that is accredited by The Joint Commission. Since opening its doors in 1960, Pella Regional has grown from a facility to care for the acutely ill to an entire system that includes a hospital, outpatient services, and numerous medical clinics. The hospital is operated as a Critical Access Hospital, staffing 25 acute care beds.
Headaches and Migraines
Headaches are widespread, and nearly everyone will experience one at some point. Around 37 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches. While headaches can range from mild discomfort to severe pain, migraines are a more intense form of headache. People with migraines may experience additional symptoms such as nausea, sensitivity to light, and visual disturbances. An occasional headache is usually nothing to worry about, but chronic headaches, intense headaches, and migraines can lead to challenges in living daily life.
If you have patients with headaches that vary in severity, duration, and location, Pella Regional Health Center has a care team that can assist them. Visit our website or call us at 641-621-2201 to schedule an appointment.
