Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming part of everyday clinical practice and administrative workflows. While AI offers promising opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and enhance patient care, it also raises important legal, ethical, and liability questions for physicians.

Speaker

Matt Groves, JD
Mr. Groves joined Copic in 2023 as General Counsel and Compliance Officer after more than 27 years in private practice, including many years working with Copic on various matters. His background includes broad legal expertise across corporate law and governance, with significant experience representing health care providers and health care systems. His practice included extensive federal and state corporate litigation and trial work across multiple jurisdictions. He oversees Copic’s legal and compliance matters and advises the CEO and Board. Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago.
