Speaker
Thomas E. Benzoni, DO
Dr. Benzoni is an accomplished Emergency Medicine physician with over 30 years of experience. He is affiliated with several Des Moines, Iowa hospitals, Boone County Hospital, and UnityPoint Health-Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Dr. Benzoni has extensive Disaster Medicine expertise, encompassing fieldwork and instructional roles. His commitment extends beyond clinical practice into medical governance and politics at both local and state levels. Additionally, he is keenly interested in Medical Informatics, focusing on Human Factors and system success and failure dynamics. Dr. Benzoni earned his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and specializes in Emergency Medicine, EMS, Disaster Medicine, and Search and Rescue.
