  • Athletic Trainers: Des Moines University is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer Des Moines University is a BOC Approved Provider continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for 1.0 hour of Category A continuing education. Fred Klingbeil, MD
Medical Director of ChildServe's Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Program

Dr. Klingbeil is the only board-certified pediatric physiatrist practicing in the state of Iowa. He is a renowned expert in the field of pediatric rehabilitation medicine. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. His extensive authorships, panel and presentation experience includes providing clinical education at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
